This one day introductory course teaches students how to understand, treat and improve acne and dark marks using a practical 90 day system. Participants will learn the different types of acne, the root causes behind breakouts and the ingredients that truly create change in the skin. The class focuses on real life routines, product selection and building customized treatment plans that clients can follow at home.

This course is ideal for licensed estheticians, beauty professionals, aspiring students and individuals struggling with their own skin. No prior experience is required. Students will leave with a step by step roadmap to begin improving acne and pigmentation immediately.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course students will be able to:

Identify the major types of acne and explain the differences between inflammatory, non inflammatory and hormonal acne.
Describe common internal and external triggers that contribute to breakouts and pigmentation.
Recognize key ingredients used to treat acne and dark marks and understand how each ingredient works on the skin.
Build a basic morning and evening routine designed to clear acne within a 90 day period.
Create a customized treatment plan based on skin type, acne type and client goals.
Explain common mistakes that worsen acne and delay pigment correction.
Track skin progress and make safe adjustments to a routine over time.
